I was recently a guest blogger at John Chisum’s Nashville Christian Songwriters. In one of his early posts, John said that part of our success as songwriters is about becoming a life-long student of song. And he’s right: when I left my day job in 2003 to go pro I knew I had a lot to learn but I totally underestimated the ‘size of the onion’, which seems to grow day-by-day.
